Pre-employment Work Capacity Screening.
Pre-employment assessment identifies a perspective employee’s ability to meet the inherent requirements of a specific role, allowing employees to make confident and informed decisions about the people they hire.
The Work Assessment System is a comprehensive computer integrated testing system. It was developed to provide an objective assessment of a worker’s physical capacity to perform specific and/or essential demands of their jobs. This system is used internationally and workfit are the only accredited Australian trainer in use of this equipment. Test protocols include standardized routines used for over 20 years.
Post-employment Work Capacity Assessment.
Clinic Based Work Capacity Assessment
• provide an objective report of the persons work capacity to return to their pre-injury duties any necessary restrictions and future rehabilitation needs
• they are tested against the inherent job requirements.
• the worker is requested to demonstrate the capacity to perform certain tasks.
Workfit equipment measures and reports with the weights, dynamic and positional tolerances tested based on the individuals position description or Job Task Analyses. In the event that either documents are not available, Workfit can assess the individual against industry standard data.
Work Based Work Capacity Assessment
If a work based assessment is performed, the worker is requested to demonstrate their capacity to perform their usual duties and/or tasks, so that an opinion can be made regarding their safety to return to pre-injury duties, or alternative duties available in the workplace.
